If you could add *one* weapon to the game...

...which would it be? Tell us its name and post a picture of it. :) How much damage would the weapon do compared to the existing weapons? Would it have an unique feature, or would it just be another auto/sniper weapon? Personaly I dig the G36-k . In Urban Terror this weapon was an automatic rifle wi...

Even if your predicted the movement hit and kill him, he could've just as well turned left instead of right, ducked instead of jumped ( u get my drift) If you predict and succeed, then it's not luck. It's skill. :P Otherwise everything in life is gonna be luck. You could say I'm lucky to even hit t...

This thread is sad. Over the years I've played with loads of AQ2 players. Some I learned to know personaly, and some I learned to know only their playstyle. These days I have no idea where they went. The year 2000 was probably the best AQ2 year I've known. Some probably think it's silly to be passio...

It's not luck when you predict the enemy's movement and throw a knife in his direction, sescrew. If I'm quite sure where the enemy is going to move, then a knife throw in that direction followed by a hit is skill. I had to think and be familiar with the game mechanics in order to get the kill. An un...

Fun read. I think I started playing AQ2 seriously by the time the A-Team started working on AHL. I remember seeing AHL in production for years. God that mod really took a long time to make, and it never felt finished or even half as good as AQ2 did. The weapon models looked awesome, but the rest of ...

Obviously, slashing with the Knife requires the most skill. If you narrow the weapons down to M4 and Sniper I would say either. When you have the same amount of people saying M4 is the hardest to use as you have people saying Sniper is the hardest to use, you know it's even. :) The Sniper has the ra...

I enjoyed the standard AQ2CTF, but it can definitly use some tweaks. I understand FooQ's feelings in his first post, and I think we need to accept some rash complaints when we're dealing with changing AQ2 as the game we know it. Let's lay off with the fighting over what weapon requires the most skil...

Don't know if this is in the game already, but how about score points for defending your flag carrier, defending your flag, and killing an enemy flag carrier. Like in Quake3 CTF.

Medkit PU? Some way to replenish health on yourself or others. Brainstorm this idea if you want.

I remember reading from the creators of Action Quake2 that the mod wasn't supposed to include alot of weapons, but instead provide one sub-machinegun, one assult rifle, one sniper rifle, one shotgun, a pistol and a knife. All in all, one of each kind of weapon types we're used to hearing about in ou...

Saw Doom this easter. Can't say I wanna see it again. :) A bit disapointed that Sarge became evil and that the ending was totaly fucked up. :) Suddenly you see camera angle like an FPS simulation, and monsters starts popping up all over like clowns. Oh well.. *cough*

People still bitching about weapons? :) Every weapon has its usefulness changed depending on the map layout. If you see a weapon used more than another, it might be because you're playing on maps that favours it all the time. Personaly I think the balance between M4 and Sniper is very good. M3 is al...
