Depends on whether or not you like low friction. I used that ikea mat for a year or two, was quite nice, but I'm using the black icemat now. However, at higher dpi's, the low-friction surfaces (like the icemat) really are a bit too smooth for my likings, so I wouldn't mind trying the 'flip-side' of ...

I will say something about this, since it came up. 1 . Most of the matches are played without match-admins. For the format and size of this event, that's the only thing that makes it 'doable'. This means that if you want demos from the matches, ur often dependant on the demos from the players involv...
