Since this thread is alive again, I just have to make the most of it and show off my new dualscreen setup :) To the left a widescreen 21" Samsung 215TW, and to the right my older 17" Samsung 173p plus \o/

That's another reason why I don't like mixes that much, it's like stealing :) ( please, no flames, it's an exhagguration :D) bunnyboy mentioned something about stealing :] he stole what? Cant see none stolen shiz To clarify, since it apparently didn't strike home with everyone :) I'm not that fond ...

Agree with the above. Personally I'm not in favour of mixes either... If it feels like another map, it's too close to that map imo. Of course you'll always have the mappers personal style, and that's a totally different thing imo. I love the fact that when I load up a map by Flunx or Wiz (f.ex.), I ...

And since yet another bug was found and fixed, do download the latest version from http://www.nrgizer.com/apps/BSPPack.zip. Check the thread http://forums.aq2world.com/viewtopic.ph ... 5&start=30 and/or the readme for more info.

Over and out.

Now everything seems to be working again. Haven't gotten hold of anyone using winzip to confirm that the new version still works ok on winzip, but I haven't touched that code again, so I hope that no freak of nature (code?) messed that one up again. Get the new version 1.33 at the same place, the .z...

Hmm... this fix made another bug come into the limelight, and I've yet to fix that one, since I cannot reproduce this error myself. It's tedious work trying different fixes, and then repackaging, sending out to the tester, and then redoing the bughunt, but I'll try to get this done asap. In the mean...

Oh, and I'll be grateful if someone that had problems before could try an archive created by BSPPack on a windows machine, could actually confirm that this fix works. I know that it winzip now opens files created on my linux, but since I don't have a windows machine anymore, I am not 100% sure that ...

New bsppack version!

Since stickys are often hard to spot (when updated) I'll put this notice here as well so that you trolls actually see it, and update your versions (and tell me if it works or not) See the last post (by me) in this thread for more info:

Hey, I have another (small) update to BSPPack, that should fix the problem that people are experiencing with newer WinZip versions (as well as the integrated .zip support in winxp) It's still weird that not all .zip applications choke (or alternatively work) on the old bsppacked files. Oh well, here...

It was very nice :) The things that stood out to me was that this movie seems less like a aq2 movie than the rest of them... It felt more like a "real" action movie than about a game, the intro was simply brilliant. I for one loved the music, and thought it was well suited for the movie. M...

You should always ALWAYS do a full vis on a map that you're going to release. As for lowering compile times, read up on hint brushes, and detail brushes. A good place to start is the q2 tutorials at http://www.gamedesign.net What are Detail brushes and when should I use them? Detail brushes are used...

I can name two, and not because i dont like the look of it, because you used nrgizers bsp pak thingy. http://forums.aq2world.com/viewtopic.php?t=1175&start=15 Scroll down, read my post. Still, it's a known fact that the windows zip module is crippled and not working properly. Now shush and go g...
