Keygrip 2 problem

Post by NeoFight »

I want to convert a demo to a .avi because I hate to start AQ2 to view a small demo :P
So I found Keygrip2. I installed it but now it gives me this error:
Error

I use a standalone AQ2 does that matter?

and these are the preferences:
Preferences

I'm possibly doing something wrong no doubt about that but what?[/list]

do you have a quake2.exe in that folder? (in your q2 folder) or do you only have aprq2? that uses aq2.exe... if you don't have quake2.exe, the problem could be that kg2 doesn't find the executable... try to copy aq2.exe to quake2.exe....

Yes I only have the apr client... OK I'll try that. That worked thanks :D

if u just want to convert them, just cuz u hate starting up aq2? O_o
that can be way more easy
here is a program i found:

http://www.cyberfight.org/offline/files/f/101/

if u install that, and then double-click a .dm2 file, q2 will open and play the demo automatically!

seems a lot easier to me....
