KG2:Outgoing message overflow

Post by Meist0r »

127.0.0.1:27910:Outgoing message overflow errors, appearing very often while playing demos from KG2 in the last time.
Dunno why, some demos work, some cause this error, completely unexpected and at different parts. Also one and the same demo can cause this error at min 2, and playing next time at min 13 or so.
Does anybody know how to manage this problem?
Tried to use r1q2 / aprq2 instead of q2.exe, also removed all my net / vid settings from the .cfg - doesn't help :(.

Pretty rarely it happens to me, and I usually just skip those blocks which causes that error. But I guess you could identify the part of the block which causes the error and delete it.

I cant skip them cause this error leads to "server connection timed out" after some seconds. I also cant identify the blocks to delete, cause i dont know which of them caused this error... The errors seem to appear irregular at different times each time i try to play this special demo, but there are no problems in playing them normally in q2. And almost each demo cause this error, earlier or later :((.

Yup, KG2.
Hope that I've fixed the problem. Seems to be a config issue... After complete q2 reinstallation, playing around with *.cfg settings, final replacement of vid and net sections from Blue Vex config it works :-).

i also realised something yesterday. Recording at 640x480 makes the video alot smoother :)

jeesus christ. At 640x480 i record at 20fps with fraps set to 25...
800x600 15fps
and so on so i would record at like 3 fps if it was that size.
