When watching w'out wallhack, you can see quite many shots with no possibility for pure player, and with wallhack you'll notice that he's a dumb wallhack user at all.

But, perhaps you shouldn't be that quick to judge him. I agree that there are some suspicious parts in that demo, but everyone can trow away a lucky shot. After all there are many parts of that demo where the player slowly crawls around corners, to the edge of roofs etc to look around/down when there isn't any enemies at the specific place. Why would a player do that if he can see through the walls?

About that quote, I speceially like this part: "and with wallhack you'll notice that he's a dumb wallhack user at all." So you claim he isn't good seeing through the walls? Now I can't watch it through a wallhack since I don't have one on my computer but consider the fact that he isn't looking through them. This demo won't stop me from playing him or his clan, nor would I base a banning on it. I'd like to see some more.

Well.. i enabled wh.. and then its pretty obvious i must say..

hes trying 2 hide it quite well, thats why u cant hardly see it on with wh on

uhm, why even have such a forum with cheats, its just booring to sit and read about your "caughts" . "I caught him on demo". IT can be sounds for sure. Headphones wraks. paste something like... screenshots from ppl when using glowskin or something.

Well, I'm still not sure at all. I think many demos of players depending alot on sound in their playing may look quite suspicious when viewing it with a wallhack too. Although they are not using it. I actually don't think cehating is that common as you all seem to think. After all if you have played for such a long time as dametosh has i.e a few years (correct if I'm wrong), then I don't think you would fancy cheating.

It feels like all of you spend too much time trying to get cheaters caught. I did too just a few months ago but it really doesn't matter how much clientside applications we develop, or how many players we ban, the cheaters will still cheat, and we will just stand there irritated. It's better to enjoy the game while it's still being played, and try to beat everyone instead of demoing every match and trying to figure out whether anyone cheats or not.

eX is correct, a demo is the worst kind of proof you can get. It really depends on how you view it and what "first feeling" you get.

Aaaaight.. have you guys seen the demo? I wrote in the original post that you might wanna enable wallhack before viewing it, but I can see how some of you can't do that.. But if you can, then there really are no doubts as to whether or not he is using a wallhack. The fact that he follows the players on the other side of the map through the wall, with some 6 players between him and the dude he is following. That ain't sound!

And to the crap about not worrying about cheaters; I just can't seem to do that. I'm very sorry if I ban the players who obviously cheats, so the rest of you can play on some cheat-free servers.

I could of course post some IRC logs where Dametosh makes a complete ass of himself, but I'll let it rest here. If you can't spot the OH SO OBVIOUS wallhack on that demo, I just don't know what...

i guess the ppl who watched the demo and say: 'hey he doesnt cheat' are blind or [bleep bleep bleep]. c'mon dont take the cheaters side.

Oh, there goes my last hope for this forum. With such admins that cannot understand my point and, this is quite funny actually, have to call me retarded or blind? No I'm not retarded, and I'm definately not blind, that's for sure. Perhaps you should take a look at your own forum rules.

If you want this to be a forum where you can call each other idiots or retards just because one user has another opinion on something you might want to delete that rule. And i will NOT watch that demo through a wallhack.

And to you morpher, you can't only look at the proof that points at him being guilty. Sometimes he's being shot from places where he's looking, why would that happen if he can see through the walls? And why would he (in some cases) proceed with extreme caution around corners and such, just to see that there isn't any enemies around the corner? Word is against word, and in that case, the defender always triumphs.

Demos is and will always be the lousiest piece of "proof" available since everyone has their own opinion. And his clan doesn't even win? If you have what you think is a suspicious situation, and you want to nail somebody. Stuff a screenshot! THAT would be quite hard proof that he uses wallhack. But of course, in your cheatbusting euphoria you might have forgotten that.

That's my last post on this forum, the admins didn't really meet my expectations. Starting to get more and more confused about if you even wrote those rules yourselves, since nobody seem to know them.

But, to be honest, there's name calling and flaming in EVERY forum you go to. Why will this one be different? Also you should change the name to AQ2NLDK

Anyway, how can you make a screenshot of a wallhack? As far as I know, all wallhacks turn off when the screenshot alias is used... THERE GOES YOUR IRON CLAD PROOF! Jammer tbh.

i havent watched the demo with wallhack, but ill try makin a avi file with wallhack enabled, mayby that will remove every1's doubt. But i trust Morpher

as for 'demu is playing for ages yak yak yak' who hasnt? it doesnt mean u know where every1 is all the time, it mite give u the advantage of knowing where ppl go when they spawn.

First of all I would like to say that I think he used WH, I don't know if he was using it the entire match,but he was certainly using the first part of the demo.

Secondly I must say the guy sucks big time with his wallhack, cause rather than shooting around the walls, boxes and other obstacles he's trying to shoot trough them or something.

The stuff about the sounds is fucking rediculous, since you can't hear people from all over the map, unless you're using modified footsteps(which is illegal and called cheating) or have ur volume to the max. I don't think you would do that last since it would make a crap load of noise when you fire a gun(or u must have addepted that sound, which is legal).

These are just my 2 cents.

I have to agree that demos are the worst piece of proof you can get, unless it's as obvious as on the E^ demo I posted before. For this demo, I still think he made a lot dodgy moves and shots. Saying it's sounds is just as easy as saying he got wallhack. I think I do have to agree with the others here that this demo shouldn't be the only proof to ban him of a server. Maybe thats just cause I saw the demo quickly and that I don't have a wallhack to watch it.

As for the part you say about him looking around corners and stuff. I think that's quite obvious why someone with wallhack would do that. I don't think everyone would just look thru the walls and only shoot the first second you pass a wall. Ofcourse people who cheat aren't really smart persons, but I don't think they will be this stupid

. When you use wallhack I guess the most important thing you can do is hide it as much as possible.

I do recall one moment where he passed a wall and put his sniper crosshair on a guy sitting on a building quite fast, but he didn't shoot. He just put his crosshair on him for some seconds... why did he do that? Was it to show the oppenent he didn't have wallhack or couldn't he find his mouse1 button

. I thought that was a quite odd situation...

And playing with wallhack doesn't have to mean you have to win every game you play... I think Morpher is doing a great job catching as many cheaters as possible, but I guess I'm the only one who doesn't enjoy playing cheaters...

EDIT: Oh and btw about us not following the rules. When we strictly followed all the rules in the first days of this forum, people kept calling us "forum nazi's" and stuff like that. And people left because of that too. Now we don't follow the rules that strictly anymore we got people who say we do have to follow everything strictly. It's quite hard to do what everyone wants really, but I guess we are off topic now...
