Im using R1Q2, and tried both commands, nada works.. :(

At least back when I used r1q2, the renderer and the client were separate, and you only have access to the new gfx commands if you use r1gl (i think that was the name) renderer, and not the standard q2 opengl renderer

I know that there is such a command for r1gl, since I've used it myself :) I would look through the documentation for r1gl, I'm sure it's in there..
