VfN have put up a AQ2:Gangsters server! http://www.vfn.no

u should allso read this: http://www.planetquake.com/gangsters/docs/mapguide.html

and dont be surprised if the server is used to some "late-night-fun" without gansters...

Yeah the server is good, mr lawless have taken the line in hes hand ;)
But we need alot of players and not "the stupid ones"... You will need to could read and pay attention from time to time...

Also, I think I speak for everyone that has ever played Gangsters! when I beg every mapper on my knees, PLEASE make checkpoints for AQ2:G! when you make new maps!

I sincerly hope you remember this!

There are so many cool new maps, and it would be fucking awsome being able to play AQ2:G! the way it's supossed to be played on these maps!
Really! PLEASE! !!

I think it's kinda the same as making %L Locations. :D So I guess it shouldn't be a problem making it compattible with older maps as well, but it would be cool to have the maps 'ready to go' or plug'n play :D

Seriously, try playing this server with the new client-pack with some people that knows how it works. It'll blow yerr socks off :D

yeah.... we in VfN will try to get some of the old maps compatible with Gangsters... but we welcome all help from ppl more skilled at stuff like this!! =D

oh yeah and one more thing... ppl that r skilled at coding... it would be great if you could try to make a updated version of Gangsters? more like the TNG version...

The only problem though is the AQ2:G! is not compatible with AQ2:TNG , so commands like "lens 1" does not work, so in order to make a sniper-script, you'll just have to use your old scripts.. with "weapon;weapon;weapon" .. :p not a big problem, as SSG isn't the main weapon in Gangsters! anyway :)

But hopefully that'll change in the near future :)
