ASUS A7V8X-X questions

Post by Caracol »

Got this mainboard some time ago and it was a quite cheap and a rather good solution. Besides, it suffices all my needs (at the moment).

What I wanted to ask, does anyone else have this board?
Which processor/graphic card/RAM have you on it?
About the BIOS, I got version 1013 and there's a beta version 1014.002, has anyone changed to it?

I got:
AMD Athlon XP, 1466 MHz (11 x 133) 1700+
(Actually a AMD Sempron 2600+, but those are the detected values)
512 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (64 MB )
Ne quid nimis.

...and so are you... DDR means double data rate, wheras SDRAM stands for Synchronous DRAM.

that is, todays DDR memory sticks all have SDRAM chips in them...
