This is about the rule to must have nocheat in eaql games.

Yes, its a good thing to have some anticheat client, but why the fuck there can't be some exceptions to players whos computer nocheat wont work. Even when he take demos from both maps and every one who suspects him can ask demo from him?

Like one member of our clan get computer crashes when he start nocheat.

He have asked couble of times help for it from nocheat forum without help.

I understand that they cannot be play if all of the clan members sayd that they got this as a 'reason', but only one player?

Its arent so hard to use old fashion way (spectate, watching demo) to detect one player if he got cheat or no, or is it? IMO no.

No, it surely wouldn't in my opinion. But, there's always a but right? Then there would probably be alot of people that would like to use something else, apr quake for example. And then, there will probably be a LOT of demos for the admins to watch. And even if I ain't admin I know a few things I'd rather do before watching three hours of aq2demo every weekend.

By the way, which apprimer are we talking about? :)

Yes, all the players who got nocheat working thinks like this, but think if nocheat really wouldnt work on your computer and you cant play. Would it be fair?

Just think what happens when exception's are made... blah blah domino effect blah blah

We have to be strict with this, and all the other rules. Obviously if a rule is detrimental to the majority of players then it may be revised, but the amount of people who just can't get nocheat working on their pc are in the minority.
I don't give a shit.

To linux users that phrase usually has the same meaning as "Burn down your house please".

I've been playing aq2 in linux for 4 years now. I never had any problem with nocheat. It's working perfectly for me tbh.

It's just a matter of configuration and compilation.
