Trouble running AQ2 on vista

Post by JA3k1z »

Using the radeon 9600 catalyst drivers on windows vista. I try and open the apr client and receive this message:
-------- [Loading Renderer] --------
ref_gl version: GL 0.01
Initializing OpenGL display
...setting mode 3: 640 480 W
...setting windowed mode
Cmd_RemoveCommand: "aviexport" not added
Cmd_RemoveCommand: "avirecord" not added
Cmd_RemoveCommand: "avistop" not added
GLimp_Init() - no hardware acceleration detected
Nocheat and normal q2 client can run but won't go into OpenGL :(

OMFG you are such a leecher! Vista isn't out for consumers yet. You pirate you! Anyway, I guess/hope (proper) radeon drivers will be here when vista comes out for the consumers.

Stop trying vista when you want your games to work as they worked fine under windows 2000 and windows xp. Dickheads.
