NARF Language.

Post by cheef »

i'm thinking about to make a serious pro gamer come back.
i frag alot in last days. so whats the problem?

narf is a multi-nation clan. so we have to set up some rules cause it is annyoing to often.

While clanwars (cmd say): write english
its annyoing to get this (mostly slovenian) spam.

While clanwars(speak over ts): use english (or something it sounds like.
after the console is full of trash - (my eyes are searching for some .si boys) - they also use their motherlanguage over ts.

i am not against some words. but every clanwar, always the same.

Me for myself feels too often like one Austrian boy with Three Slovenain! (HELL, Really!!)

And also over IRC in #narf-priv it would be nice to use the simple english language.

i am sure here are many guys they still havnt got it. (haha, like clanwars where u have to say everything 20 mins long and then no one heard/followed you).

the Central message of my thread and post is:

Speak ENGLISH at CW/#narf-priv!

pfiat enk.

I second that, of course. Although I always thought it was an unwritten rule, it was like, the most obvious thing to do. I can understand if Matic tries to make Flop understand an order or something in slovenish, but only if it didn't come in english before. I mean, I want to be part of the team the whole time.

And the same applies for a "friendly cw" vs .si, but I think there's nothing to change there.

I understand your frustration but you have to give us some slack. We aren't many Slovenes left in this game, so there aren't really many chances to enjoy it in our own language too :(
Besides, if we're talking to you it's always in english, only speaking in our language to make it faster.
When I got to the clan I also had to read German mostly, and it was like you're saying when there were ~3 Dutchies playing.

Sure, I also don't like it when people talk over ts when someone still alive, whether it's me or someone else.

i think, if there would be everyone on ts, we could speak english, of course:P
ts is essential in my opinion for faster communication!
