well, animated movies are movies too, a great genre. this thread should be used to enlighten people of all the good movies that are out there, animated or not.

i just don't understand it. this is not a hard movie. i could rent it in the local videostore. it has 3500 votes on imdb, a score of 7.3. it received a lot of attention when it was released, even here.

there's a thread called "anime thread" on this same forum, 6 pages long, where they are discussing anime movies and series, 90% of which i've never heard of. i've only seen the most popular movies like akira, ghost in the shell, spirited away etc. and this particular one. are they not viewing this thread or what?

Of course it's Metropolis, and the first picture he posted is from the Metropolish DVD/VHS cover, or just the main poster-picture.

Also, anime _IS_ a great genere. If not the best.. eh.. it is the best..
