Would that be ok to just make them different shades of the color chosen? It would be a pain in the ass (both for me and for players) to choose the different colors for each round...
KTFare it is
Actually I just meant that it would have a list of pre defined colors (maybe 5-10 or so) that it would go through and take one in turn for each round.
and if (colors
== numOfColors) { do some crazy stuff and restart the list from the beginning. }

Can u put the stats in a seperate graph as well, that way u can point out the 'hotzones' of the demo without watching it, perhaps making it easier to find cool multi's in old demos or something.
(Every 451 damage means a sniper headshot, perhaps?)

This could be somewhat strange - but I'd like to have a function for saving all the text that was printed into a .txt file

There already is such a function, someone might help you with this. Blissard made such files from cw's that's in my quakefolder now

For a small update: I'm battling the wepons and hit locations now... I think I more or less have the hit locations parsed, (except when you get shot by a shotgun or hc, since that's not logged anywhere!?) but the "hits/weapon" is proving much more ellusive, since there is really no way that I've found that you could determine if for example you hit with your combat knfe (this because you could throw a knife, and even squeeze of a few rounds with another weapon before the knife hits, then it would be impossible to say if it was the knife that hit or just one of the rounds from your other weapon) It's driving me mad really... oh well... just to let you know that the starts ARE (hopefully) coming
