It's way too brutal. Macabre.
Box is ok, I can stand some punches in the face. But a guy swinging both of his fists against the guy laying on the floor. And how his head shakes after every hit. Not what I would like to watch nor like.

And it's not as if sports should be worldwide accepted just for being considered sports. I can't stand many of them, including football and the acrobatic ones, for example.
