Since its clear uve never played any other game on a bit higher level except aq2 (MAYBE!!!) i can tell u that rj IS A CHEAT IN Q3...if u dont belive it just go to #quakequickcup and ask im sure u will get good answers
p.s. admins are gay (clan .CoM,clan *RF*,...),and i hope some admin explains u that those scripts really are cheat maybe tgt?

As long as the command itself is not locked from usage, it shouldn't be considered as cheating, with a few exceptions.
You can have scripted jumps, triggers, sensitivity scripts, slower walk-mode, faster slashing/throwing knife when dropping weapon, changing the picture quality, scripted crosshairs etc.
They are just binds/scripts/aliases.
Rocketjumping in the quake-series with scripts is not very good imo, because you cannot aim your jump in the directions you probably want, except very easy jumps straight away or back, side to side - whatever. Wouldn't consider that as cheating when it is not really good to use it for the big/important jumps. And still, it's just easy aliases, binds to make it happen.
Just like someone mentioned, sniper scripts shouldn't be allowed as well then. And about these triggers we have nowadays, that should be considered as real cheating if we compare.
What this topic is about, crouch+attack at the same time. It sounds really stupid. You will still have to control your aim, only thing you don't have to control is by tapping your crouch button. So you will only attack when crouching. You will be a very easy target if you mainly play like that.
About scorni's move by lowering the fps to be able to run with legdamage, that should be considered as cheating. He tricks the game to use a function that should be impossible to use in that stage.
Hopefully most of the servers are now locked at a specific cl_maxfps var so this cannot happen.
