USA National Team ---- No leagues let USA/CAN teams play?

Last season we also allowed an american to team to participate.

Let's see what the vote results are at 10th of august, then we will decide weather they're in or out.

All that whine about the ping BAH - There are even existing players in europe (like me) who have to play with a +100 ping and they dont do bad, so why wont scandinavians even try to play with a ping above 15...................... The ping is a lame excuse its kinda: hey the whole skill just depends on the ping, i cant play above a ping of 20 - show us you can...........

its not that i care about ping, its just i'd rather keep the swapping of the servers to a minimum, ie just with the finnish, norweigan and whoever clans.

@ DaNi - i think they came ionto eaql a few months back saying they had tng now tho, so that shouldnt be a problem.

@ DaNi - voting sucks, cuz they're gonna get the whole of america to vote against us

what difference does it make if 1 out of 2 maps is played on a finish or a usa server cept for the ping?

they should be more into fairplay instead of just always wanna play on theyr own retard server where they all have like 50 lower ping then me.

1 server each is still most fair imo.

Only good thing about american server was that it counted all the pings and looked if it was fair

It's not about the pings deadly. It's about the differences between america and us, for example, we use a complete different tng. We use nocheatsay, they don't.

Those differences are pretty fatal for the eaql, since we have concrete rules about those things.

As i said last season and i will say it again:

European Action Quake League

Now make your decission based on those things, not on ping related skills

and as far as the european name of the league.. whats it a name.. its nor hand nor foot..

but they dont have a alike league and as far as i know this project ( The eaql, the forum, the website) is based on the thoughts of keeping the aq scene alive as long as possible.

no better way to do that then accepting 2 more teams in a allreaddy kinda empty roster..

Oh please, we are talking about a Nations Cup. What exactly is the point of this discussion. Isn't the goal of a cup like that to have fun and to offer some other form of competition. I can imagine that things like these are important in a clan league, like the last season of the EAQL, but you also allowed an American team there. And besides, what does the name have to do with it. You called it the European Action Quake League: Nations Cup. Doesn't that just mean that it's a Nations Cup organised by the EAQL crew. It surely doesn't have to mean only European teams can participate. I also have to agree with Dani, there aren't that many countries that can form a team anymore, can't be a bad thing to have 2 more.

And about the differences between Europe and America. When they join the Nations Cup it means they have to follow those rules (same for every other country). They read the rules and then it's their own decision to join or not. Also if that means they need a server with TNG and that they have to play with NoCheat. When they don't agree with the rules they simply don't join. You can't make any exceptions here. Same rules for everyone.

So here you go, a decission based on those things is quite easy to make. Welcome in the Nations Cup USA & Canada

True true, their dll's are way outdated but the pings are fine got 170 on pearlmankey it's nice and stable and im probably one of the hpb's in the netherlands. And yes i think it will be a problem with those scandanavians they really do whine a lot bout ping...

What i think is funny is how you guys can sit back and say Americans dont do this, Americans dont do that. I find it funny considering that USA/CAN has always use NoCheat since it came out....hince NiceAss is American. There are a few of you out there however that are keeping an open mind about this (dani for example *wink*). We just want in on a piece of the action is all.

I didn't let you in the last season because i was against it dafonz.

You allready got my vote, though as kurupt said, you will have to follow the rules. The first season you had some difficulties with that, that's the reason i was talking about it.

JAALI is forming the Canada as we speak, and the USA team is almost complete. So both teams will be ready by Sunday.
