I have installed SmartXX chips before, the bios is awful, didnt really work with anything.
FTPing the bios didnt work and the soldering was just... sad.

oh, and half of the SmartXX's have been broken by the time I got them
Never happened with Xecutors. (Not the best reason, but still its a reason.)

How about you? Have you tried something other than SmartXX?
Did you install it yourself?
Did you get all the bios' and stuff yourself?

No, i havent used a modchip other than smartxx, but i never heard any complaints about. Most of my m8's have it. Bios works like a charm and soldering is easy?

Yes i installed it myself, yes i got my own bios, and yes no problems
