same thing goes on @ public servers: OMG LOL STEAL HAHAHahah n00b!!!!11!!
i was playing on bt 15 mins ago, and there was some <frau>'s guy whining about fragstealing. so i replied (even tho i was even on different team, these kind of things just tend to get me pissed): shoot to head you retard, then they won't "steal" your precious frags.
i continued to explain a bit: "teamplay should be about TEAMPLAY, and deathmatch about frags". "yeah, on cw's maybe, but on public it's all about frags" was the answer. man, this scene seems to be daaaamn twisted. IT'S NOT ABOUT TRYING TO PROVE BEING BETTER THAN OTHER PLAYERS ON THE SERVER.
PLEASE! some server admin, find a way to make server no-frags and put one, just one up for us, who really don't care about the frags, just love to play the game (and maybe we could see some other weapons than ssg/m4 there).

There used to be an command to disable the scores in aq2 
forgot it tho.

You got that right spectre. But those stats bots from Cendor really have changed the game. I have nothing against Cendor but most players only care for frags and not fun. That's why there's so many M4 players and new, fast maps... Really hard to convince ppl to vote some old map that wasn't played in quite some time.

That is because, DA Main is used as warserver too. Only 100% public servers are added to the statsbot.

There was a swedish server a while ago called Mats Hus ran by former old player MsDosMats. During a short period of time it had no frags that showed in quake2. It was great, nobody cared about how many frags they got (they couldn't tell anyway) and people played with all kinds of guns. It got reset back to original though before he shut it down entirely.

the scene really NEEDS nofrags-server and those maps where you can choose slippers & silencer and have at least some of their advantages... cliff2-generation sucks balls ;)
...and den, it's SUPPOSED to be for fun.
yay, and how about some oldsk00l tournament sometime? in which the maps where you are on the enemies faces before ACTION! would be left out from mappool and maybe maps with some real teamplay played instead. without mm3 ofc... :)
