What's up with all the new maps? I find there are actually too many maps on the maplist for my taste.
I'd be happy if you shortened it a bit and also get a couple of more of those really old maps back on the list instead.

No way mr Span, you can not possibly be whining about the new maps. There has been many of us constantly whining to get something new in serverrotations for a long time now. If you don't like it, play on some other server. There should be plenty of them running the "old"(worn-out) maps.
