I think it ruins the game...its more fun to know where your enemy is without hakksor cs programs..

If you use it without your opponents approval, then its cheating.
If limechasecam is enabled or not is no excuse to use Ventrilo. You can still tell your teammates when youre dead that the last enemy alive was hit in the kevlar by your sniper rifle.

Imo it's not, just the enemy needs to approve it. And of course it's a bit better if there's limchasecam enabled.

It definitely adds a lot to the spirit of the game. It makes better relations with others in the clan, and it's really enjoyable when both clans are in the same channel. In short: No.

Further more, how about players/clans who are on a LAN? Or people who use local phone lines. Same fucking principle, but nothing can be done about this, and I value the fun it could bring above the occasional time it is not 'in the spirit of the original game', or other such sentence. Read den's column on the subject, and read the older threads (in short: get your facts right). I agree with him that the aq2 community's sense of progress is limited somewhat by their conversative attitude. Anyway, I also agree that not telling your opponents is very weak, have some guts please.

if it's okay with the other team (limchase or not), then it's okay.
otherwise it's cheating.

This question was put quite stupid, some people might think "its cheat" since limchase aint usually used, but some think you ask about it when limchase is enabled and they say "nope, it aint cheat" B\
