Graphics Card Problem

Huhu!
Since I have a new Graphics Card (GeForce 6800), I canĀ“t properly quit Quake 2 and Quake 3. When I quit and want to confirm the quitting with yes the Prog crashes and I have to close it via Taskmanager ... Anyone got an Idea how to solve this Prob ? THX in Advance

type quit to console?
or type disconnect first then quit

Install other drivers.. Try Omega drivers.
I had the same problem, tho I use GF2, but still..

DId you remove your old drivers properly when installing your new card?
Try something like driver cleaner.

use driver cleaner to remove old drivers
download and install new catalyst's
update/install ur mobo drivers (AGP)

Guys cmon he uses a nVidia grafics card!
OMEGA and CATALYST are the ATI drivers!
U have to download the right drivers.
Wait here u got the right link for the nVidia driver

http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
then enter the right operating system and other info and have fun

I had the same problem and its because of drivers. Get some newer (beta) drivers than 61.77 that are on nvidia site.

I use those drivers and they work fine...

Omega r for ATI and nVidia cards.. And they work nicely.
