I'm looking for a good web-based strategey game. one that is based on a time/tick system. Checking in once a day should be enough, and the learning curve shouldn't be too steep - I don't want to be plowing through strategy guides just to get started properly. It would also be nice if the game could go on virtually forever, and it would be even better if you already play it so you can protect my puny city/planet/hero/army etc.

I used to play Planetia. It's faster than Planetarion, and was easy for me to pick up. I dunno if it's still running. Game times last one day or something.

I was going to have a look at that dawn of myth thing, but I got a crazy redirection to a no longer existing page, so I signed up for planetia instead. Anyone playing, send me some resources

So are you still playing it? Any guides around, I need to get into one really fast, once a day seems nice. I missed a couple of ticks with that planetia thing, so basically I'm going to a real slow advance at the moment.
