Well Rallu's version is with Apr, right? Would this be a NoCheat install?

the older version, yes. but it was mentioned in aq2suomi that the new version only contains apr. well, you can get those clients from the net easily, so it shouldn't prevent you from doing anything, right? :)

interesting.. would you please give us more details about whats contained in the package? like how it compares to axion (from the screen shot it looks like the textures are exactly the same as axion).

what maps are included? are the textures more complete than the texture base in axion?

slacker. I have made myself quite lot of textures to that install. Hud icons, player skins and weapon skins are redone. And if you take a look of jungle1, cliff2 and skytown2 you see few familiar textures but mainly those are from my hands. It also makes startup menu things, etc.

Install is still missing most of the regular q2 textures becouse of copyright issues even though I have replaced them with tga's as well as possible.

I'm currently planning to create java based lauch program which includes good keybind-editor and stuff like that. It might be steam-lookalike program with automatic downloads, friends network, etc, but it is still under thought.

And if you wonder why I have dropped nocheat: Its buggy crap. Doesn't work even close as well as apr (well bit better fps in nocheat) and becouse it easier to give n00bs just one client or they will be really confused.

some listings:

g:\quake2\action\textures\dir /s *.tga
Total Files Listed:
291 File(s) 57 455 191 bytes

g:\quake2\action\textures\dir /s *.jpg
Total Files Listed:
14 File(s) 858 671 bytes

maps included:
actcity2.bsp
beer.bsp
cliff2.bsp
cloud.bsp
ferron.bsp
jungle1.bsp
pier.bsp
rexro.bsp
riot.bsp
skytown2.bsp
urban.bsp
urban2.bsp
urban3.bsp
urban4.bsp

Not so many maps becouse I wanted to keep it small enough. Zakath's mappack is good combination with this install. (which were updated not long a go)

Here is first swing component which reads autoexec and makes all lines with 'bind' editable. It doesn't do anything yet, but hey I started to do it.
