I modded mine myself, some time ago, with an aladdin advanced. Works like a charm. I use XBMC as a dashboard, and It's great, if you haven't tried it, I recommend that you do. ( http://www.xboxmediacenter.com )

I'm currently playing KOTOR2, as my mind is infatuated by it like it was with KOTOR. Simply amazing, fantastic storyline. All hail the xbox :santa:

Got to get back to my lightsaber :D

I use XBMC to watch movies and stuff, EvoX is the way to go for a Dashboard :P

XBMC is just as good, if not better than evox as a dashboard, xbmc has everything the evox doesn't :)

As a comparison:
XBMC is like windows, evox is like dos.

if with windows you mean xp, then i'd like to say, that imo, xp is pure shit because it's 100% graphical OS. and no, using dos promp doesn't mean that the OS actually is textbased :)

i'd rather use dos than xp, if i had only those two to choose from :D

Some-one help me!

I installed EvoX on my xbox, but now i want XMBC as dashboard, so i changed my bios (Evox M8 16) with Ev tool. http://manual.xboxmediacenter.de/wakka. ... Dash&v=3la option 3. XBMC loads up, but i cant see my games (f) ?

But when i start my xbox with EvoX and then choose XBMC from the Apss menu, i can see my games?

i got opengl under a month ago :p and i didn't say that dos is what i favour. just that an os not based on textmode sucks duck. i'd rather go with dos than xp, because of my personal experiments with it at other's pc's. i use slackware 10, so "no windows, no problem" :)
