here are some stats from the -=FHE=- AQ-Teamplay server that's been running from mid-2000 till late 2001:

332745 frags - took my old Duron 1,3 GHz 10 mins to calc the stats from the 100MB qconsole.log...
anyone got some more stats from other servers?

stats are saved and resetted daily
to view older stats

each "day" ends at 7 am. (changed it from 0 to 7 today)

some overall ranking would be nice since a daily based ranking doesnt say anything at all (even less than a 'normal' ranking..). how about also a monthly table?

daily stats are very good to see how good someone was on this one day
if - like normal - there are only overall stats, only those players will be shown in top lists who play very frequently on
da main
im thinking about generating
one time per day overall stats, plus monthly stats generated on each
first day of a month. like daily stats this will be done automated. should be only a view extra coding.

I can tell you from experience, fakers (ppl connecting with different names all the time) and an incident barrier set too low make the stats pretty useless
and to fix the faker problem you need a good alias.txt (which of course is tough maintaining, especially with real dynamic IPs)

incident barrier for daily stats is set to ~35
incident barriar for overall stats ist set to ~100
if one faker wants an alias name registered he can contact me pain AT daclan DOT de . if not i dont care.
