We have this "make a company" thingy in our economics class, and we are considering selling t-shirts which says "CS sucks".
Anyone interested in buying these? Or do anyone have any other suggestions to what we can have on the t-shirts?
t-shirts will be black and the writing white.

We had something like this. It was called 'Young Enterprise'.
My company were so good that we were invited to the regional finals, which we won and through to the London finals, where we failed miserably. It turned out that the school that have won before were there, and they had a wicked presentation and stall. They sold tourist guides for disabled people in London, and tourists. We sold mugs. With the school badge on it.
What is was, is that we start off with nothing. Raise capital by plugging our company and selling shares in our company. There were weekly meetings to try and decide what our company would be about. We came up with the name 'Kerching!', which looking back on it, is a DRY name for a company. Then we decided to sell mugs. It was that time of year where people were going to be leaving the school, and parents of the new kids were coming to see every sports event, every musical event, every drama event there was. They wanted their own little keepsake. We had to find a supplier for the mugs - as many and as cheap as possible. Then we had to find a printer who to send the design to. It turned out that they charged the same for one side of the mug as they do for two sides, which we found out later on. Then we started selling personalised mugs - higher price, same cost. We set up stall at all these events - we made ourselves £1000 profit, in a few months, from nothing. This all went back to the shareholders, of course.
Apparently people around Europe take part in this scheme, and there's some sort of European Finals where all the Young Enterprise companies meet up and find out who the best company is. All very exciting.

geek, hi2u2 :>> well. if you got the offer to choose between theory or "make-your-own-company", which one would you've chosen? the last one ofcourse. Since we are lazy, we decided to do something simple; selling t-shirts.. And lazy as we are, we never considered walking door to door, so hey, why not the internet?
kos :>
