.avi and .wmv aq2 movies

i have watched these jump movies, and i think it it really cool with jumping and stuff.. 
but those i have watched is in .avi og .wmv format. and i wonder how do i make a movie in that kind of format..?
i only know how to make these .dm2 videos...
