Want a nice tool for browsing aq2 servers?

I've just released the first official build of an application I've been developing the past couple of weeks and I've got to admit it myself, it's actually quite nice.

One of its key features, I guess, is the ability to monitor your friends. The application will minimize to systemtray (if enabled) and popup a notify balloon (similar to mIRC's) whenever one of them connects to a server. There's also, optionally, a really cool method of browsing the servers by viewing thumbnails of the maps that are playing at the moment. Of course, you can also view them by details if you prefer, which is the default method of viewing. Besides all of that, it naturally features most of what other tools can do as well.

Here's a few screenshots of the app.

Oh, yes. With regards to any error/bug any of you might encounter. I would appreciate it if you would zip down your .xsd, .xml and .exe files and send them to me with a detailed description of what actions lead to the specific error/bug, either through mail or IRC.

However. I believe the application will prove stable for most of you.

Thanks. :)

Right. I was able to fix the bug.

I have updated the .msi package and I will also post a hotfix for those of you that has already installed the app.

You can get it here, meanwhile. http://62.249.189.58/ServerBrowser.zip

Just unzip the package into your application folder.

I can't add servers :? I go to 'insert', write IP or hostname, click ok and nothing happens. But I can add friends.
Weird, hope you can help me because I like this server browser.

You sure you entered the correct IP? It won't add if there's no response from the server.

Yes, I tried many different servers, none of them works. Even hostnames don't work.
Now I tried to add RR server and got this :o

Hehe, well, there isn't any RR server, so that's not a big surprise :)

If you were thinking about the server address seNseed used in the FAQ, it was only an example of how to type them.

Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem could be however. Maybe your response times are too high. I've made it so that if the server doesn't respond in 600ms it won't add it. I can compile a version that will listen for a bit longer tomorrow if you like.
