Retro2 - [NEW MAP]

Hello there. I've just finished testing my new map and here I am.
I was watching some old black and white movie and imagined what if aq2 could be b&w too, how colud it looks and so.. I've started to make Retro1 but stucked and couldnt finished it, but yesterday I was reading replys for new wizs map "hidden" and liked NuFans reply. He's said that ppl needs more cw maps. I went to check many well known cw maps and started to work at Retro2. And that what we have now :)

I had the honor to play it before it was released and i must admit the gameplay is really great in there. The looks are totally different than other maps, we played it with ctf skins and they are both really good visable, no advantage for through the skins at least.

Good job mate, uploaded to DA Main.

can't open the map:

ERROR: LoadTGA: Only type 2 and 10 targa RGB images supported

i'm using nocheat opengl v2.34

the idea of a b&w map is great, gj beav! :) and by the screens i'd say that it looks like a pretty fast paced map, not like credits, but still looks very good :)

I doubt I can change anything now.
Try to replace my skys with skys of another map which is good for u. check your env folder in your action folder.
my skys called "bup", "bft", "bdn" and so on.If u will still have a problem, contact me at irc.

well, i noticed when opening the files in photoshop that they were set to grayscale. i changed them to rgb, but still got the same error-msg.

Yep, it's not cause grayscale. Just replace them. or use apr :)))

well, i fixed it, i had to change all the tga-textures from grayscale to rgb, aswell as the skies. maybe you should make a new zip?

oh, and could you make the boxes slightly taller? like urban3-height? it's a real pain in the ass doublejumping them now :|
