i'm such a hanger

i hope u guys can help me with this problem.
well its like with aq2 i can play 15minutes but than i sort of hang,
so i got 2 like reconnect till get back, its pretty annoying u know.
btw i only got it with aq2, not with cs or wtf else.
HELP MEH

It's always exactly after 15 minutes, no maybe's about it. I've seen it and it is one of the strangest things... can't comprehend whats going on..

at cw when I see its about 15 mins since fup joined server. I write ready. at 15 mins he hangs, then come in 2-3 seconds and we can continue our cw. But it annoys.

ffs just delete all hax u got.. i know u got them..because i send them to you..
so no more hax = no more hanging around , you just dont understand how to use those überhax.. so stop trying

It's probably the ISP. My old ISP had this thing once in a while where the connection would go down after 2.59mins. It was strange, but nobody knew what was going on.

...but if it doesn't happen with any other game than aq2 then either q2 is uuber sensitive to ISP problems, or the problem lies somewhere else... and since both games are using the same protocols - essentially hl IS a quake engine game anyway - I find it somewhat hard to believe that q2 would be that more prone to network problems than HL.
Have you tried different clients? for example r1q2 which I hear has alot of networking improvements? Also you could try to check your firewall so that you don't have some funky timeout set (if there even is such a thing?)

Maybe your fan isnt too well anymore, check the temperature of your fan on your cpu and/or on your gfx card (if it has a fan).
Zak had the same problem last weekend and his problem was the fan, his cpu went too hot.

den: we all know that aq2 is much more graphics intense than any other game! of course the cpu/gfx would heat up more in aq2!!!
