Refuge - [NEW MAP]

Hello,
I've made a new map, it is the first map that I release on any forum, the rest I've been releasing on my own page (http://map.wh00s.net)

Anyway, read this before you download the map:

btw please don't whine about me putting all textures in my own folder :(
cause i really don't care what u think, u can either download this map or not, i just posted this so the people who don't care about the texture thing can play it :)

looks nice and all .. but can't picturse it on public or wc.. maybe on some lan with friends aand maybe ctf.. didn't raeally test out the map sogood :DDDD going to checkit some more tomorrow! GN!!!!!

I think this map has potential to more jumps than urban and tj combined, already found this one: http://www.kapsi.fi/~heretikk/misc/refuge-jump.dm2

Map looks nice, but is, as kaaos has pointed out, a bit two dimensional.

kaoos: well, it's hard to make a map like this jumpable, and i really wanted to make this kind of map so :P
slacker: i'm afraid not, since i've only played quake2 like 2 years ago :p
i mainly got inspired (from other maps) from seastation and dose, the design that is

Good looking map. Great atmosphere. Could use some clip brushes on a few places. Hard to say how it plays just from the looks but I fear that it (sadly) isn't what the typical action quaker wants when it comes to gameplay. But that's one of the greatest challenges when it comes to making maps. I'm impressed by your increased skill in mapping from what I've seen of your work.

Keep it up. I'm expecting some more maps from you ;-)

hehe :p thanks, yea this was my first map that i tried thinking about playability, i kinda like the idea of trying to make it playable so i'll be making more 'playable' maps then my older ones :D
