Hi,

I just got my new pc (p4 3000) with this new videocard (ati radeon x300, 128mb)..
Most new games run perfect (unreal tournament, etc). But in Q2 on a resolution of 1024x768 somethings just go a little bit slow!!!
Is there some sort of patch for this ????

try downloading the Omega drivers, usually works quite well with older games

and with the catalyst ones, extract http://action.marsmodule.com/misc/atioglxx.zip into your quake2 directory and use gl_ext_pointparameters 0, should work pretty nice :)
