Well, strafejumping with 500 frames per second does need a bit more accurate timing :)

use either 90 or 120. 90 is da old one but everyone now uses 120 better :D i 2 :D but if you still have problems get a new graphic card or use gravity higher than 1000 :D ;D :D

gravity getting bigger than 800 = you jump lower, so gg with that ;D

for me, the maxfps i need for the tj boxes is 100, but i play with 60. cl_maxfps 120 should atleast do it, so try that :)

ive learned this from hours of JumpMod :)
these are guideline fps settings for certain jumps

cl_maxfps 31 - ladder jumps
cl_maxfps 40 - double jumps
cl_maxfps 120 - high jumps and ramp jumping
cl_maxfps 90 - everything else

might not be very useful in aq2 but anyway
Jump.cfg wrote:alias fps31 "cl_maxfps 31;bind mwheeldown fps40;echo Maximum fps set to [31]"
alias fps40 "cl_maxfps 40;echo Maximum fps set to [40];bind mwheeldown fps120"
alias fps120 "cl_maxfps 120;echo Maximum fps set to [120];bind mwheeldown fps31"
alias fpsreset "cl_maxfps 90;echo FPS RESET TO [90];bind mwheelup fpsreset;bind mwheeldown fps31"
fpsreset

very handy :)

No need to waste time with these when you can hit headshot, BOOM HEADSHOT!

maxfps 120 does just fine.

I use 60 for good strafe jumping.
that script for alias change is only 1 way to strafejump and jumping above boxes

don't know about you, but that looks to me as if there would have been at least one guy here that didn't...
