Half Life2: Lost Coast

This add-on was has been released some time ago. It uses some new technology, which only really good graphic card can support.

I want to warn you, this video shows whole Lost Coast level. And I recomend you to download video with best quality.

Why watch a video when you can play it urself
When it was first announced it was nice, but now.. im not really impressed anymore.
You need a pretty good pc to run this at max.

owh, the screens look motherfucking great.
too bad im to lazy to download the movie, but i think the screens talk for themself B<

I have shity pc. I played it, but ofcuz I couldnt see it at max. And this new texhnology doesnt works at my pc. Thats why I downloaded video, there I could see how awesome it is.

The only thing i liked from the lost coast is; the light-to-dark effect (dark-to-light) It works kinda same as your eyes.

This pic shows when you first look outside (all bright)

After a few secs your eyes are adjusted.
But all these effect were shown in the game Splintercell - Chaos Theory. And imho it looks even better.



Ill make some better pics when i find some good examples

Lost coast was made only to show this new technology.. I think it looks awesome, all those wet stones, bricks and sand which reflects light. they look so realistic. Looking forward to Aftermath.
