APrQ2 jumping/fps problems.

Okay, APrQ2 is a really good Q2 client, and I just started playing with it, and of course I enjoy it's new features and so on :)

Anyway, when jumping around, I often get some kind of an sudden stop. Mostly when jumping of the ledge of houses, I suddenly stop, and slip of the edge...
This is not an human error, I mean, even on the urban-jump, I suddenly fall down.. And I know the urban-jump.. like.. really.. good and shit.. :p
but with this client I fall every time.. EVERY! time..

I usually play with 60 FPS, in my old clients.. but as I saw that didn't work, I tried with different things, and found out 66 FPS was the best for me atm, but it's still not perfect..

Just wondering what's going on.. and if anyone knows what could possible be the problem, and if you might have a fix for it? :)

ANY help, would be greatly appriciated :D

Thanks in advantge or whatever..

if your fps was +100 then human error could be the problem...but with 66 fps ur timing has to be far from perfect so i dono...

[EDIT]

i didnt mention that this happens me quite a bit too..only when gettin to the 3rd or 4th jump in a strafe jump..my cfg has my maxfps set to 105 (which im pretty sure is the problem, but havent changed it) but when its 90 i dont seem to have any probs..i think its a matter of gettin used to it

I got that too, well, had. Don't know really, perhaps it's the version of Apr I use, or perhaps I got used to it so much,...
Anyway, I still can't make several strafe jumps in a row. Was pissing me off a lot at the beginning though got used to it or something.

Set cl_maxpackets to the same value as cl_maxfps.
It works for me.

Still didn't work with 60 FPS to me..

but with 66 fps, as I started using, works much better now.. :D

So i guess there's something to it, thanks! :D

AprQ2 is good, really beautiful client, but it seems that I can never get that great jumps as with R1Q2, don't know why. I have asked Maniac personally, and no clues.

But I have another more irritating problem, my mouse is slower in Apr, even when trying with and without the mouse acc command.

There are three reasons why I don't use Apr.

I don't get that great sounds.
I don't get that great strafejumps.
My mouse is slower, somehow.

Other than these reasons, I would love Apr, since it's an amazing client. But what the hell. :I
