Its Board Games, not bored games!
Aight, heres my question..
Do you know Exciting board games (featuring blood and violence)?
Played "Risiko" (dunno if "Risc" is the English variant of it) yesterday and i loved it.
Then i Remembered the old game, Starquest (way better then heroquest ofc), and i felt like buying some new/old game... But i´d like to start some that doesnt turn boring after a couple of games (and im not sure if starquest can stand it).
So... do you know anything comparable? I found some lame starquest remake... doom3 board game
http://www.battlefield-berlin.de/shop/i ... uct=DOOM01
But im pretty sure its kinda lame, a new remake of the same game.. so.. any suggestions?

i played the pc and the boardgame version of hero quest
yeah, its quite nice
Btw, aq2 could be a really strategical board game... with a character skilled in movement, spraying and sniperweapons. These are influenced by the current round...
jumping: -1
bevel surface: -1
using laser: +1
Opponent runnung: -1
long range: -2
Oh, and maps can be build with compatable terrainpieces!
... oh yeah, with that idea i will get rich.. or die trying

Well, StarQuest was kinda a clone itself afaik.
Check google for the tabletop Warhammer 40k. I know that tabletops != board games, but if you are interested in strategical games then it's definetly worth taking a look at.

I've only played Warhammer 40k, and it sure looks
cool.
Anyway, I dislike the half-way games, like all this semi-tabletops board games (like WoW, Starquest, Doom). In board games I like simple and long games, like Go or Metropoly. Also those like checkers, ludo and those dice-and-advance kind of games.
But I'd rather play on a table, without a board some role playing game.

Actually, i always like Warhammer Fantasy over the 40k, and yes i play it. But moving in with a girl kinda changes things. So now my army is packed down in boxes.....
Damn the women, damn them!

You would have ended with the same result anyway. Girls does that
