The meeting - organizing

At first I'd like to thank den for making us this forum, it will ease the things quite a lot.
OK, to get things started. Since this is not some small thing - at least for now it doesn't seem so - we need to begin at the beginning.
The idea of the so called NARF meeting came to our minds a little more than a year ago. Since we knew it just wouldn't be possible to make it in 2005, we've decided to do it in 2006, in spring or summer.
Now the idea has come to our minds to make it in the beginning of May and it will be held in Munchen, most likely at Matias' place. But the latter really depends on how many are going to respond to the invitation.
Anyway, I think we should first inform everyone, who are going to be invited, to check this forum. I made a list of those people and added their e-mails next to them. These e-mails are taken from their profiles so I'm not really sure if they still use them. If you know about any changing of anyone's e-mail, let me know and I will edit the post.
Since I'd invite a few other people who aren't in NARF, here's a list of them:

Also, at a clan meeting members simply need to have their clan's T-shirt. So that's another thing to discuss, or maybe not. Tag and full name on the shirt, and perhaps owner's nick too.. Tell me your thoughts or it will be my way!

emm ... place and time for meeting
I think t' would be nice , somwhere in the middle of the summer - and place like somwhere at the seaside :] ...
bout the shirts ... i think for just usual wearing would be better to just have "NARF" on the back or something ... if t'would be like NARF trsto , would look kinda g33kish
...

I think the date and place are quite settled. I think it's the first week of May (will confirm this in the upcoming days) and of course in Munchen.
Why Munchen? Germany is in central Europe, it's also in center of NARF if you look at the members' locations. Georg and Caracol live in Munchen and are both up for this meeting idea. It may be hard for Scandis to come all down here, though plane tickets aren't that expensive, especially not to Germany, as Arce was checking yesterday.

Yes! Meeting!
We have to see how many would be up for it to see the details: for how long, where to sleep (?), etc.
So, just so you know. Count me in (unless it is somewhere else and I can't take vacations to travel).
About my place, there's enough space to have ~10-15 people spreaded in the living room (after giving it some order, hehe), but it could be more, and there's also my room where 2-4 could be at the PC, watch a movie, or whatever. Sleeping, dunno really, I don't have enough matrasses to have place for many, but one is there and also a inflatable one. One sleeping bag and ~5 blankets. But Georg lives near me and I don't know what he could have and if someone could sleep at his place. We need something clearer to see those details.
About the t-shirt, I don't really know, I wouldn't buy a t-shirt I won't use. So it has to be black and simple. No big logos, no big texts, no silly images, and a nick is unnecessary. Maybe a black t-shirt with a "NARF" in that blue font used in our website (the one used for the long name).
Anyway, we need to talk about it and arrange it.
By the way, it has to be during the first 2 weeks of april since Cheef is leaving us for 1/2 year (or something like that) after that date. So it can't be postponed.

i dont think that i got time for a meeting...
- i serve for my country until june (impossible to leave beautiful
austria:/).
- then i am going to work a month
- and after that crap i am going to make a interrail tour through europe
- then i will visit britain for 3 weeks
so, as you can see, i am a little bit busy until september, when im going to study, hopefully in vienna...
concerning t-shirts: i agree with cara: black shirt, little logo in that blue of the page, probably embroidered...
something like this:
we do not need the text on the back, if you do not want to:P

Omg not the first week of May ... im in the middle of a semester at school ... think the summer holiday would be better for everyone. Dont think ill come, its not the distance but its the strange date

I doubt I'll be around for summer, I'm thinking on going to Chile for some weeks, and that would be in summer time. Besides, Cheef is leaving after May.
A pity Apocalyps. But we can send you picture and empty bottles!

hehe, the first NARF shirt was white, with the green narf logo at the front and the National Assembly of Rifle Forces writing at the back if i remember right ^^
After a Party [NARF]Uggi once ruined his NARF-Shirt through barfing over it and falling asleep later X)

Hahah Lis, now that's old. I actually think I've seen those pics before.
Anyway, folks, I was thinking about the exact date. How does the 28-30th of april weekend sound? We got a holiday on the 1st of May here in Slovenia, and also few days before the weekend are off. The next weekend - so that's the first one in May - is actually impossible for me, harr.
Since the meeting would last from friday afternoon, or evening (depends on when people would come to munich) till sunday, it's not that impossible for most people. But for the first weekend in May I really can't, got final exam on monday after it.
Confirm or suggest anything else as soon as possible, so we can inform everyone with all info needed.

Sounds perfect for me. If Monday is free here in Bayern too, better!
For my part, as host, no problems at all. I still need to talk with my flatmate and see the details, but that's just about place and stuff, nothing what could give troubles.
About the T-Shirt, I liked omi's version, but dunno if the back should actually have something, a simple "NARF" suffices, in my opinion. I would buy it that way.
Well then, bring it on!

if its elsewhere ill grab matias and go there - but i think matias place is good
about the shirt - like matias saif .... i wont wear a shirt which says im a g33k
