I hope one of the DA admins will read this. I'm getting tired of playing the same maps over and over again. I love the server, i really do but i suppose the admins dont know what fun maps are. Do they still even play the game?

I beg you! Make a decent map rotation because the current one is utter crap. Don't try to be a .fi server (no offence), there are allready enough of those. Can't you make the map rotation more like BW's? That one was nice and balanced.

At this moment, i think the map rotation is like m4-sniper-sniper-m4-sniper-m4-sniper-sniper. Include some maps that makes you use hc/m3/knife etc. The more maps in the rotation the better! (well not too much of course) and thats the reason why a lot of people are playing less and less!

Because i'm such a nice guy, i'll make you a fun map rotation that is perfect for everyone's needs: (ofc some maps should be vote only)

I agree! but not necessarily on the maps you mentioned. I annoyed pain for a long time to do something and he did! but it didnt get any better he just added pier and another one i cant remember. Scandanavia has and ammount of servers but everyone from everywhere else plays on damain so a fun rotation would be very nice.

I don't see a way out of the screwed up rotation, it has and it will be Pain's choice always, no matter what you suggest him.

I'd prefer to have another public, hopefully one of Haudrauf, with a decent rotation. It just need to start to be used and people will start to join, and the ones that play teamjungle in a 5xday diet can stay in DA Main.

That was my next suggestion yes

the DA map rotation is short so you will end up doing 5x tj anyway.

hosted by haui and den` helped with the rotation so it shouldn't be bad i can update the server, change the maps etc very easily so all u need is the players.

Ive suggested many maps for the rotation.. removing tj from the votelist and rotation etc. When i suggested a total new rotation (made it together with Stric) like 50% of the maps were in it, Pain always put tj, act2 and maps like that back in the rotation.

There is no need to remove those map.. just add more.

Pity Pain doesn't listen to active players, who know what's the best for the server. I barely play public nowadays.. Every time I decide to play like 3 maps of public 2 of them are Teamjungle.
And I don't even dislike the map, it's the way it's played - boring.

There will always be shitty maps that nobody wants to play.

There are things I dont like about =DA= Main as well (starting with a 14-slot-server and ff...) but it's kinda fact that Pain with his peculiar setup and map rotation always attracted and still attracts a lot of players.

I don't wanna deny that there actually is room for improvement but I can feel Pain. It's so hard to satisfy everyone, so he sticks to what has worked for years.

It could be worse, mhm? I'll trust Pain on this setup/map rotation.

But anyway: Pain always had an ear for minor improvements, so if you write him a mail mentioning like 2-3 mapchanges...

Yeah. A massive map rotation full of maps most people don't want to play and taking other maps out of the votelist isn't stupid at all.

Why don't you "clever" people just play on the server with the better rotation, or vote whatever map you want to play. Obviously if they don't vote it will be because they possible don't want to play it. Also, being that much cleverer, you people can easily adapt to the extra 0-20 ping you get on the other German server.
