Since aq2soccer was kinda a rush job done in a couple of hours late Friday night and after listening to suggestions and testplaying Ive updated the map to this version. This version is named aq2soccer2 as all mappers know calling an updated map the same as the previous map will cause no end of confusion with servers and people trying to join servers with the old map installed.

Improvements:
- Fully vissed with sunlight
- More DM spawns to avoid carnage on entry for those that use it in DM mode
- Line markings can no longer make the ball stop
- Goal areas for better goal kicks and possible restriction of where goalies are allowed to noclip or play?
- penalty spots for possible penalties or shootouts
- Corner markings for corner kicks
- General neatening up

This will be the penultimate aq2soccer map Ill make, the final one will be set in a stadium etc, hopefully it wont lag too much as a result.

It's the same fucking map. This should be the aq2soccer, not 2 or 3 or however more you're planning to make. I'm making a real point about pointless revisions are you go around name calling. urban, urban2, urban3, urban4, cliff, cliff2, cliff3, plaza, plaza2, cloud, cloud2... They're all completely different maps, not the same map with minor graphic changes. Yet you still try and make excuses.

The only fucking idiot around here is you, the fact is what clown and i said was right and you just cant take it. If you release something to the public (especially the ultra stupid way you are releasing this bit by bit) you will get feedback, good and bad and if you cant take this (you prove time and time again that you cant) JUST STOP GIVING US THE FUCKING MAPS, its not like anyone who has opened quark before couldnt make them.

If its THE aq2soccer map then why are you refusin to upgrade your servers with it before more people dl the old map instead of being pig headed?
The first map was really a beta and was literally made and upped to our server all within 2 hours on Friday night, but noone seemed to mind it not being lit and in full brightness so I didnt bother seeing how long it would take to fully compile, large maps can take over a day to and we didnt want to wait to play it. You can see its rushed, look at the 'DWL ad boards' the textures arent even lined up right and the ends are messed up too.
Look at actcity and actcity2 for example, maps improved but you dont make the second one actcity as well, causes no end of shit with different maps with same name.
What it boils down to is whether the first map was aq2soccerbeta and this one aq2soccer, or aq2soccer and aq2soccer2, you still have to dl two maps its no difference. It also boils down to the fact you're pig headed and dont want to upload the map to your server cos then that would look like you backed down.
If I do make a 3rd map with a stadium and if it doesnt lag too much its not gonna be released for a long time, so do whatever tho this map plays much better due to spawns, lines that dont stick up a little, goal areas and corner markings. The map may even run smoother due to the full vissing I havent checked.

Unfortunately it doesn't, and you haven't. You still haven't proven any point whatsoever, while still picking (not so) random ranjectives out of your first dictionary. Idiot.

And Evilcina, he didn't bring any football idea. This all started because of ME and DEN. We were playing random crazy maps on my server, kicks and punches. WE didn't invite anyone, people just flooded in. When WE hit like 20 on the server, all slashing and kicking and punching, then I opened it to 100 slots and started spamming it on the AQ2 bot. I uploaded loads of crazy maps and a rugby themed one happened to be in it. I started trying to kick people through the sticks and eventually tried to arrange a match. It didn't work out because people don't have much patience with new things. Fooq happened to be on the server at the same time and decided to make a football map. Or "soccer" as those retards call it.

Now, I don't know much about mapping as I've never done it before. But I'm pretty sure anyone who isn't brain-dead can make a flat map, add a texture, and put sticks at each end.

Being pig headed is refusing to conform to standards set by everyone, and refusing to listen to what ANYONE is saying. All you ever want to do is the opposite of everyone else. Being pig headed is NOT when server admins refuse to upload 25 versions of the same map onto their server.
