Problems with md2 2 md3!

I looked at "XMAS GIFT! : retextures for border, riotx and torabora" but i couldn`t miss that on:

JuM8o, got md3 grafic on ammo and band.... They where from rq3 and md3 files are supported in Aprq2 1.20.... I have tried changed md2 files (quake 2) with md3 (quake 3) files several times, and the ressult is allways this:
Its no skin on it and its flying over the ground....
Can someone plz try help me

why trying to change aq2 in rq3?
wanna play something that looks better than q2?
just play rq3
are you bored and you want to improve aq2? build new and fresh maps instead of making old ones to look better!

maybe thats simply the size of the model that doesnt fits?
as you said, i dont know, im not a mapper.
thats the first motivation that comes in my my mind

I have found out(with help from JuM8o) and this is easy business, if you got a modelling program, and can change "the md3 path".

From md3 to md2 absolutely
, but its better to use AprQ2s md3 support.. However the animation from md3 on weapons isnt ready yet so its just to wait and see until the next AprQ2 version, hope that support is coming there

I said that the md3 models
JuM8o had, was from rq3, and later that I now know how to make md3 files work, but that I hadent taken md3 files from rq3.
I really understand why that was confusing, hehe

No that whont work, because on md3-files animation are not included IN the md3 file, like it is in md2. AprQ2 dont "
understand" that animation could be in a text file, and models with a animation will just continue play all the time
