Looking for server software / Support

I've been working on setting up multiple aq2 servers on my linux box. I am running Ubuntu 6.10. So here's my story:

It took me a while, but I finally got quake2 compiled and I compiled action from it's original source (with some help from PaTMaN). However, I've found that running a server from the original action source makes it somewhat... lacking. Many standard functions such as 'maplist' don't exist. So, I started looking for alternatives. I tried R1Q2 with very little success, so I ditched that. I tried TNG, but it's binaries gave me nothing but seg faults, and I was unable to find a TNG source to compile from. My next choice would be ETE, which I have used in the past. However, the aqdt website has been down for some time (fear.net was bought out it seems), and my attempts to find another download site have turned up empty.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?
Any help would be appreciated.

Once this is all sorted out, I'll have 3 servers: TP, DM, and JMod. Also have been considering adding a 4th CTF server to the list, but that might be a bit much for the server to handle. :)

That how-to should be updated a bit.

Anyway.
To clear some things out....
TNG source -> HERE
r1q2ded -> Used for new binaries TNG
r1q2ded-old -> used for old mods like OSP and others. R1Q2

Go for it

Thanks Uncle-, that TNG source was exactly what I needed. Everything is working perfectly.

Thanks to everyone else for replying, as well. :)

Oh, oops.

Too bad I missed this, AQDT on fear.net is sitting at my house.

I can send you the linux libc or glibc binaries if you still want to mess around with them.

Just drop me a mail at monk@rq3.com so I don't miss the reply.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/aq2-tng/

Would that be the freshest place for TNG source, or is that kinda defunct now?

This is, Maniac's improved TNG. Some new stuff, many bugs fixed etc.
There was a news about it quite some time ago.. here
