Server setup question

Hi, i have recently gotten hold of a 100mbit BBB-connection in göteborg (similar to the one that angras old servers were running at)
I thought i just as well might cram up a server on that connection as the angras servers seemed to work well for most nationalities.

What i need to know is what hardware is recommended to have for running 1-3 cwservers. And if someone can help me setting it up as im no linuxguru.

still i need to know what processor/ram would be recommended for 1-3 servers:) the only comp i have avail. is my current laptop which ill probably get rid of one way or another soon, could just as well set it up as a server (if its good enough) a pentium mobile 1.8ghz 768 ram.

People had servers running on computers 8 years ago. Anything will do I 'spose.

For setting it up, you might want to hold Haui up on his promise made in this topic: http://forums.aq2world.com/viewtopic.php?t=1153

Do whatever you need to get the servers up. More servers always helps to keep the scene up. Sajh we should have had more people like you:D
