Danish AQ2 server?

Hi all.
I work at a Danish ISP and have the opportunity to set up a dedicated AQ2 server. The problem is, I've been out of the "game" since gameland.dk closed down back in 2002. So I need to know exactly what files to use now a days. Is AQ2 TNG the hottest thing? Could someone give me guidance to setting up a dedicated public AQ2 server - please :-)

Hmm .. seems I have some problems. I use FreeBSD 6.2:

Fire up IRC. Go to #aq2admins in QuakeNet and politely ask Emperphis. I bet he knows.

Can't find him.
Damn this is frustrating. Finally I find a complete server package and then this. Must I really install a Linux server for this? I've run quake2 servers on FreeBSD before.
If anyone can help don't hesitate to contact me.

you need libcurl
check
http://q2admin.net/index.php?i=h
if you dont need q2admin, erase gamei386.so, and change name gamei386.real.so to gamei386.so
more servers to aq2 are welcome gl

The server started just fine now. I'll work on the libcurl problem.
Feel free to test the server, it'll be on and off to begin with until I get some things in place with a forum etc.

You still need some config pending.
Check action.ini and action/maps dir for a rotation.

Yea ,.. something is still odd. I'm looking into it - but I don't have much time for this. I'll let you know when there's progress.

Great ping. But as mentioned, prefer matchmode servers too. That's what we need. :-)

Finally a danish server! It's good to be dane again!
I just recently started playing AQ2 again and missed a danish server, keep updating the server and make adjustments to make it perfect - very good work!
