hellooooo ladies.
What codec would you recommend to render a movie? focus (ofc) is on quality, not on size, since i give a shit what you have to dl :)
PLUS how do i apply the codec to the vid? used to do it with vdub, but it seems it doesnt have the fancy codecs.. or is there some way to do it with vdub? thx folks!

Most programs check system for a codec list.
Tryout x264 or similar

I use K-Lite Codec Pack 3.5.3. Works fine for me, no problem so far.
