aq2 in my old pc went to like that, if I remember correctly the view. It happened when I jumped aq2 - mirc - aq2 after getting killed in action, when I always check mirc. I think it went to normal on next round (rarely) or if I would surf fast mirc and again back to aq2
Dunno what caused it, I blame the really jammed pc for now. Atleast its a hell of a job to tell teammates whats wrong with my aq2 hehe 'everything went blue'.

And like Bruicer said it happens when you switch between aq2/mirc/aq2 before/after getting killed in action or before/during changing map. How to solve the problem... just
vid_restart and textures gets back to normal.

It looks like that when he starts it, so it's not becuse aq2/mirc/aq2

I get that too, sometimes when alt-tabbing with my laptop. And it's not because of aq2, since I can get it anytime, just when I am "restarting" the screen settings, like if I change the resolution in windows, this can happen as well. I don't think it's any driver issue, since I didn't have that shit before, suddenly it just came. I think it's somekind of overheating. When I touch my graphic card it's really HOT, just like myself. =/
But it's strange that it only occurs when you are alt-tabbing...
