Howdy fellas!
Winter is passing by and it's time to wakeup from hibernation and start playigng quake, as Fire-Cup here again!
In our last event we had a bunch of legendary teams included, teams such as Apprime, Lost Hope, Forgotten Warriors of the Deep, Ambush and Illusion. Also, there was some foreign blood included, in a form of Veni Vidi Vici (v3). In the first events grand final Illusion got a headhook over Lost Hope and overran them with 40-23 result.
So please, everyone join in the fun (@ www.unimatrix.fi/events/fire-cup/ )! Don't be scared! Registrations for the second event will begin on this friday, March 21st 2008. Mappool will be secret for the time being, but will be published later on. We have space for 16 teams, but also a possibility to increase it to 32 teams, if we get enough registrations.
Awards are the same as last time:
Winner: A gameserver for 2 months period
Second: BNC / Shell clanpacket if the clan wishes to receive it (for 2 months period)
Third: BNC / Shell clanpacket if the clan wishes to receive it (for 2 months period)
You will find some familiar names from this events adminlist: Jonsku (a guy responsible for maintaining tournament servers), Alien (for shoutcasting, reports & general stuff), ceeri (head organizer, general stuff) and HellFire (general stuff)
