win7 problems!

The problem is that with my laptop i cant use resolution under 1600x900 because of the shape of the screen. But if i start aq2 then i cant get fullscreen. With smaller resolution the problem is that the sides of the screen are both sides black. Is there something to do about it?

What client are you using? With the newest AprQ2 you can set a custom resolution by using these commands:

gl_mode "-1"
r_customwidth "1600"
r_customheight "900"

What's the GPU in your laptop? Manufacturer and the model of your laptop would also be nice to know.
