Problem With Music And Action Quake

Im trying to listn to music while i play..This is fuckings imposible because i only get this sound error.
I use Apr Q2 that even has hes own Winamp function.
I want music ffs!
Is it something with my Client,or cfg? What can i do?

sometimes when I played music with winamp and opened quake2 the winamp sounds just went missing, I changed some winamp settings and got both quake2 and winamp sounds.
from winamp settings, pick plugins and output, from there change DirectSound output to waveOut output.
at least that worked for me. dunno was that even your problem.

You can set your settings in winamp at direct sound output, and then set your hardware on the soundcard you're using instead of primary soundcard. You also have to remove the use of primary buffer...
If you do this, it'll all work perfectly fine..
