Good work indeed.

Well I took a lot of people suggestions and here is a new version:

http://forums.earthquakegaming.com/?m=T ... m=6&id=577

It is VERY noob friendly (and ofcourse vet friendly :)) So you can use your autoexec.cfg with it no problems, and I included a super slick new font and console so check it out just for that.

Also I'm not sure if you looked at ALL the maps I did (now has sludge1) Because 70% of the maps I had to do all the texturing work, so please look at all the maps before saying you have the textures already :(! Lots of custom work here guys.

Oh yeah - and if it was possible to download the models, skins and textures without dl'ing an entire q2/aq2 it'd be nice :) Dunno if u can, havent found a link to it tho :)

Well this download is only 52MB. It only has Action files, and no Q2 files so if you wanted to inlclude this into your Q2 directory just get pakscape. Or you could probobly just rename the .pak files to a higher number and put them in your folder.

I don't plan on releasing just a texture pak since you only have to dl about 20mb more to get the whole package.

this compatible with nocheat and stuff? I remember q2ice having a few issues with nocheat... or someone said...

I have no idea how nocheat works, but is this just the same as customising your aq in the sense of changing gun textures and things?

Well, basically Q2ICE and nocheat were two different clients, ie, two different '.exes'. If you wanted to use Q2ICE (and their really nice textures, shadows, et al) on a nocheat enforced server (Le Jolt) then you would get kicked.

No cheat is getting better now, with support for 32bit textures and the rest of it, but remember: it is mainly an anti-cheat client. There are much better clients out there that makes Q2 look much nicer, and have some nice features... like wallhack and bot :oh:

reading this from the website :

Step 2.) Run Axion.exe

Step 3.) Configure your settings with the in-game menu.

sounds like axion has its own game .exe? this would be similar to q2ice surely?

yes, it has it's own .exe 'cause that pack is a stand alone :m00:

Well. in this program.. nocheat 2.34 is included

so nice textures with nocheat 2.34.

if you want 32bit textures, just look at the 32 bit textures topic ;) :hop:
